Abstract:
Usage of mobile device in nowadays turn to part of people life. Media contents like videos are popular for using in the entertainment and the business. Long Term Evolution (LTE) is a broadband wireless technology that promises to support many use of media contents with its high data rate can satisfy for media application. However, the more media contents, the more resource requirement. Otherwise, delay issue will occurs and it is not good for video traffic, especially for real time one. To address this challenge issue, this work proposes the method that determines two parameters in scheduling algorithm, one is C value for delay point that traffics will turn to critical traffic and the other is RB ratio for resource proportion to real time and non-real time traffics. The simulation results will be compared with proportional fair (PF) algorithm and evaluate the performance in term of average delay, system throughput, packet loss ratio.
