Abstract:

Agriculture is the main occupation of the population of Thailand.  It generates the most income to the country, mostly via export. To maximize and ensure productivity, various environmental factors need to be carefully monitored and controlled.  However, huge amount of resources makes it difficult to collect useful data in a timely manner. Our goal is to ease these environmental monitoring processes by collecting data from agriculture fields. We developed a remote monitoring system, based on wireless sensor networks, which relies on a network of low-power, fully programmable devices equipped with sensors to collect essential information. The system provides user with flexibility in controlling data collection resolution, based on configured thresholds, which allows more efficient use of limited energy and bandwidth.

Abstract:

Since currently there is a wide use of WIRELESS LAN because of not only its convenience, but also wireless equipment itself having more competent for high data transferring rate. On the contrary, the number of client increases very fast causing difficult to manage all of access point and have lots of impact to administrator. Data management of wireless access point on campus network is new web application for administrator. Retrieve information such as sysName, cDot11ActiveWirelessClients, ifSpeed , ifOutOctets  from access point in KU campus via SNMP command. It would change status of access point if it down.

Administrator easy sees status, client active and bandwidth by topology. The consequence of this research is that The Management and Monitoring Wireless LANs System could facilitate wireless network’s administrators work load, allow monitoring the wireless network more convenient, also assisting administrators to troubleshoot problems promptly and effectively.

Abstract:

Now the Internet has become part of every business, in term of speed and reasonable cost. New technology such as xDSL, cable, Leaseline, etc., which are increasea speed and more durable although the same cost. Employee may become less productive when they misuse. To control this problems the office need to use some software which can monitor traffic between in and out the office. The most of application uses with the Internet is web browser or HTTP, so this  project is created to control any webpages which are requested from users

WingProx is created to solve the problems by controlling the contents of the Internet. The employees are allowed to access within the office’s policies

Abstract:

Agriculture is the main occupation of the population of Thailand.  Compared to other fields, it generates the most income to the country. To maximize productivity, various environmental factors need to be carefully monitored and controlled.  With huge amount of resources to monitor, it is quite difficult to collect and process useful data in a timely manner.  Wireless sensor networks, therefore, have been introduced to mitigate these problems.  However, monitoring tasks usually involve collecting data from multiple areas, making it rather inconvenient to establish connectivity to each monitoring station separately.

Our goal is to ease these environmental monitoring processes by collecting data from agricultural fields into a single point, allowing users to conveniently access to the desired data.  In addition, we also developed a visualization module to display data with color shades over two dimensional maps, which is easily accessed via most web browsers.

Abstract:

Nowadays, the quality of life in aspect of safety has been decreased, so the need of security system is increased. However, the commercial system price is inappropriate for the residence and small office uses. Therefore, this project is aimed to develop the security system for these uses. Based on opensource software, low-price web cameras and sensors, Bluetooth communication for interfacing with the cellular network, and the Internet, we developed a system with maximal performance but minimal developing cost. The final system is able to detect movement and motion, supporting up to 8 web cameras and 8 on-off sensors. Configuring, scheduling, and live video feeding are available via Internet access. Under abnormal circumstance, the system is able to record the images and videos, and alert the users via 3 different method: E-mail, SMS, and phone call.
