Presently the popular method for checking the students attendance is the signing up the paper which student can cheat by signing up for each others.It will take time for instructors to summarize the sign up sheet to check for the students‘ attendance. These data can be used for many purposes such as allowing students to take the exam if he has more than 80 % of a class attendance

The project developed by c#, aims to create an applications for time attendance by using a finger scan technology base on the IDWORKS library.

The collected data can be easily summarize imedicaly .This application will be linked to the present database for retrieving students’ information.It can also reports the status in graphical view.

After the testing in a course composed of 35 students.The report from the class shows data accurately base on the arrival time of each student.Each student will take 3-4 second to scan and record the data.
