          Nowadays, energy problems are becoming more severe. People keep using electrical appliances without clearly realizing how much energy is being wasted. Hence, this project aims to deploy electrical power sensors that measure and report energy usage from points of interest. To make the system comply with communication standards and ready for the Internet of things, IPv6 was chosen for the network layer protocol and MQTT for the application layer. Energy usage data are transmitted to the server in real-time and recorded in the database. The data are processed and visualized on the website.
