RFID technology is widespread used and it plays important role in recent year. RFID help us improves the quality of access control system to make it more convenient and more efficiency. Formerly we used a human to authorize the access, but due to human consideration it can make an authorization become slow and it has risk for human error. But when we bring an RFID technology to the access control system the system become more convenient and more secure.

Most of the RFID access control system is not secure enough because it uses only an RFID card to gain an access authorization. If someone picks up that card, he/she could also gain an access authorization too. This may cause damage to the whole enterprise security system.

This project will improve the efficiency of RFID access control system by using wireless network. With the wireless network we can install the system easier and we can manage the system much more convenient. This project build on previous wireless RFID access control system and we use an ARM9 board instead of an access point. Also it has the face log system and the password system this will make RFID access control system more secure due to above problem.
